William, that is so gratifying to hear! Especially that you’ve found things of value in my work for so long. I’ll be the guy waving and smiling when you fly by me on this list;)
This is a small personal victory, but a meaningful one to me.
David Epstein has been one of my favorite authors for YEARS. I have given away probably two dozen copies of “Range” to family, friends, and clients. I remember reading his stuff in Sports Illustrated and it stuck with me.
So for my work to even be in the same zip code as his, in any forum, puts a giant grin on my face.
