I know it might seem too early to take a look at the Senate. But candidates are making decisions about whether to run pretty much now, and Democrats’ chances will go from snowball’s-chance-in-hell to actually-somewhat-viable if they field strong recruits.

Now that it has been conclusively shown that the use of the 1952 law to detain non-citizen students targets speech only, all those who believe in free speech will call for Rubio to stop using that law.

I mean: someone in America was just detained for six weeks by the federal government for criticizing Israel. There was no evidence provided of any crime or immigration violation but a single op-ed.

Keep me posted if I miss something. But right now, there’s a lot of silence.
