You gotta love Charles Spurgeon. In a single verse from Psalm 90, he suggests a five-point sermon about grass, comparing it to our life individually and collectively:
Psalm 90:6 says, “In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up…”
Spurgeon says, "Here is the history of the grass—sown, grown, blown, mown, gone…”
And then he offers this sobering thought: “The history of man is not much more.”
