When I decided to run a marathon, people questioned whether I could do it. Combined with my own belief that I was not good enough, the doubts were real.
I even thought I would die out there. But I am a planner.
So I went out and built proof. Long runs, hard sessions, showing up consistently until the evidence was undeniable.
I sprinted the last 2 km of my first marathon.
Now I am chasing the Boston qualifier.
Confidence was not there at the start.
The willingness to build proof was.
