The Scottish giant George MacDonald is the preacher we all need. If you’ve grown up on Lord of the Rings or Narnia you’ll find much you love in this collection from the preacher that influenced Tolkien and Lewis (amongst others). This edition with an intro by Bradley Jersak is lovely.

My wife commented, while looking at me reading the book, that “Scottish preacher” style hasn’t changed much in 200 years. 😂
