As someone who has been vocal about suspending the writ of habeas corpus solely for illegal aliens to circumvent Marxist judges abusing their national injunction authority on mass deportations, today’s Casa decision from SCOTUS may have alleviated the exigency for exercising that extraordinary power
We took a step away from needing to suspend the writ today, not closer
I think SCOTUS knew if they didn’t put these radical district judges in check, the writ would ultimately need to be suspended
They made the right call for our country and the rule of law
This was a historic day, but let’s see what unfolds
