I wrote this for Foreign Policy three years ago. Unfortunately, it is as current today as it was then. The Taliban use “counter terrorism” as cover for killing their enemies, among them former military personnel who fought alongside US & NATO troops until the August, 2021, withdrawal. Read on:

Very early on in the pandemic discourse, Zach Bush M.D. recommended NOT getting the flu vaccine and getting vitamin D from the sun and exposing ourselves to the environment and especially nature for diversity for our immune systems. I have never gotten the flu vaccine, not because I am so educated in the nuances, but because of my innate knowing. And seeing all my clients who vaccinated and their whole families getting sick anyhow. There is something to be said about trusting in a healthy immune system!
