No one asked to know this, but I was chatting with BadRedhead Media (Rachel) and she said that a bunch of drafts should be called a panic. I wrote back (jokingly) that I agree. Then I looked at all the manuscript drafts in my editing queue and decided panic is appropriate.
In my current waiting to be edited queue, a novella (started), a novel, two short stories, a collection of short and not so short stories that totals a novel length, and another novel, with more on the way that’s been scheduled in the pipeline.
So yes, panic works. Mind you, I’m not panicked, but it still feels like a lot when I list it all out. And that’s excluding the website, full social platform branding design, and four covers also in the queue.
This is why sometimes menopause insomnia is a blessing.
