DHS announced it was abandoning its plans for a wall through the Big Bend National Park and the canyons of the Wild and Scenic Rivers area. And yesterday morning, the Big Bend Sentinel reported that Presidio County elected officials had been told by regional CPB head Lloyd Easterling that DHS was abandoning its plan to wall off any parts of Big Bend Ranch State Park.
