I’ve decided to not ever go to a hospital if something “internal” happens to me — I’ll only go if I’m in a major accident or something “external” happens to me. Hospitals today are killing fields! Over 6 years ago, my husband had a stroke at the gym. I took him home, and with help cared for him for over a year. Our last year together was filled with laughter and problem-solving (we’re both engineers). He died peacefully at home, age 90. Never even went to a doctor.
