Hi, Cara. I do know about how unfair the world is, and it's on purpose most of the time in my opinion, and I do know how many people there are in the world who have been stomped down for no good reason and kept from blossoming. I cover all sorts of impediments to access, to a "good fit" environment, and my writing about the 5 levels is only to help people who get the chance to be identified by good assessments to recognize that much of who they are has been so darned confusing they become anxious, angry, depressed, etc. The way most societies treat people of color - and women of every color - is unforgivable. People are curious about giftedness and that's what most often brings them to my work. My real purpose is to do exactly what you talk about. Hang in there and take a look, too, at how I describe each book that I have written in the last part of each post. Thank you for questioning; it helps me to be a better writer.
Dr. Ruf, your insights into the 5 Levels are fascinating, but they seem to exist in a vacuum.
