Shameless confession, sometimes I really desire to grow in my intimacy with God but my actions don’t reflect it, or I doubt he’ll actually respond to my desire for more.

Today he reminded me about the importance of seeking him wholeheartedly. Growing in our intimacy is on the other side of that wholehearted seeking, it’s not just about desiring it. Action is required, this involves more prayer and intentional time in his presence.

wholeheartedly = “The term "wholeheartedly" in the biblical context refers to serving, seeking, or following God with complete sincerity, commitment, and devotion.”

Jeremiah 29:13

“If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.” This is a promise we can count on 💕
