Some fascinating findings here (figure 2) from Norwegian male data:
Before age 40, high IQ men have the LEAST children. After age 40, they have the MOST children.
After age 35, low IQ men fall behind in fertility and drop to the bottom.
Low IQ men at age 45 have the same mortality rate as high IQ men at age 60. In other words, low IQ men seem to age more quickly, which would support an “R/K” hypothesis of mortality (but not fertility).
Unfortunately this does not include data for women, since it was derived from the military which is overwhelmingly male. It also excludes anyone of an immigrant background. So results could vary widely with gender and immigration status.
