I often see notes on the topic of catalysts but I think they are misunderstood.

Think of a catalyst simply as a positive change in the business. It can be internal or external.

Finding a cheap stock is great but it is often cheap because of a narrative or negative change that occurred.

It is a catalyst that breaks that cycle.
