Politics Watch: Hakeem Jeffries’s ask for any Democratic vote supporting the election of a Republican Speaker should be:

  1. The Speaker must have voted for the impeachment of Donald Trump.

  2. The Rules Committee needs to be divided 50-50 between Republicans chosen by the Speaker and Democrats chosen by the Minority Leader.
