Historical figures mentioned in my article 17

Duke Ai of Jin (晋哀公), personal name Ji Jiao (姬骄), was a ruler of the Jin state during the Warring States period.

In 453 BC, the Han韩, Zhao赵, and Wei魏 clans jointly defeated Zhi Yao智瑶,the Earl of Zhi, and partitioned his territories. The following year (452 BC), they expelled Duke Chu of Jin晋出公 and installed Duke Ai of Jin as a puppet ruler. By this time, Jin had effectively been divided among the three clans, with real power held by Han, Zhao, and Wei.

Duke Ai of Jin died in 434 BC.
