We live in a time that people are more inclined to obey an unlawful executive order than they are to follow a court order 🤦🏾‍♀️.

Dictators are created due to cruelty, cowardice, & compliance! IF THEIR ASSES will ignore the Supreme Court, we can definitely IGNORE HIM!

The elevation of Pope Leo XIV is a profound and historic occasion. Like so many around the world, I am praying for him and wishing him and the Church well as his papacy begins.

So let me get this straight, we finally get an American pope, and some of the America first crowd is mad because he cares about the poor and immigrants. Am i missing something here?

BREAKING: Israeli MoH data released in March 2023 proves the vaccines are killing people. How come nobody noticed?? Hello!?!?

I live in Maui. I was in Wailuku, October of 2021 (my recollection) when Malone gave an outdoor presentation. Malone stated that perhaps just the elderly should get the jab. You spoke up from off stage and said, so we all could hear, no one should get the C19 vax. Mahalo nui loa! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that moment.

Malone was a bit slow to get it. He had to go through the metamorphosis of getting red-pilled from having been a true believer in his entire previous life. I think he gets it now.

It takes time to change opinions one has held one's entire life. Anything less than a year (and Malone started his journey in about March of 2021) shows extraordinary intellectual fortitude. Steve, here, was an exception, in taking only about two months. They are both great men.

Malone needs to apologize. You can't just pretend you didn't do really evil stuff. There needs to be an accounting, and even an atonement. I'm absolutely not suggesting fines or jails, just the fortitude to apologize publicly.

Doug Thorburn's avatar

By his actions and writings, he has. His Substack is his apology. His metamorphosis is his proof. How many have turned from being a Biden supporter to quoting von Mises in the space of a year?

No that's not enough. You are being too lenient. When someone does wrong especially grave wrong like he has done, it means they haven't changed if they don't face the people. Our society is too wishy washy and accept any bad behavior which gives the message to other bad actors that they only have to write a few articles and appear at a few fundraisers and they've fulfilled their atonement. No. That's not what makes a society great. And safe.

Your comment actually makes the case that public apologies mean little to nothing...

Apologies along with behavior change within a family are golden; everywhere else, apologies are just words.

denise ward's avatar

Well yes of course. But a public apology has weight because they are public and that is not an easy thing for people to do. Apologies are not made today no matter how egregious the behavior. Like 9/11, I'm still waiting for the government to apologize for not protecting the country. But it seems people don't mind at all because they didn't hold government accountable and when that happens it gives the signal to miscreants that they can do wrong and get away with it.

You and I probably agree on most everything. I just think that whether or not Malone apologizes is a minor point since he is now working against the death jab. As for government official and government elected leaders apologizing, the best deterrent is heavy fines and long jail terms, especially since once they pull things like 9/11, I would put ZERO weight on whatever people responsible for such treachery would ever say. The only constructive action I want to see with those types is how many m…

Well all your ideas I'm just sayin' are typically male-based. Of course we don't notice because that's what the conditioning is like. It's like water is to fish. The very idea of jails is primitive and puerile - all blood and brimstone. The real saying should go "as below, so above" not the other way around. But men see things the wrong way because they don't seek the equality of women. All his-story is male-baked. We have to hold each other accountable. I daresay that you don't want that becau…

LOL - OK, OK, you proved me wrong: We don't really agree on much! If I wanted gender studies and gender blame, I would take a course with Shrillary...

Where was I in error? If you could point out where, we could solve any problem.

One thing that's difficult to see is that Hilary and all people who are involved in "politics" are involved in furthering the patriarchy. You could have a more open mind about it. It's for your benefit as much as ours. That is what is killing society and our life support system, but it's so ingrained that very few can see how its tentacles choke us. All of it is male created and really it's all for dummies. A proper 100% selfocracy is what we can have now. It's so funny that I have to push that. I would imagine people would be lining up in droves to find out how they can be their own ruler.
