From the vaults. 2020. A little pandemic music for the soul. After having my cataract surgeries for the past two months, I am now cured enough to get glasses.
Glasses? Didn’t you have the surgery so you would not need glasses anymore?
Yes, but to gain long sight, I had to sacrifice short term vision. Little things like reading. Doing work on computers.
Oh, you can buy “readers”, those cheap spectacles from the Dollar store. But “readers” are not precise. They exemplify ersatz vision.
Today I get to see the optometrist.
