To interpret that as a standing ovation “for Charlie Kirk” is inflammatory nonsense. And we have no need of more inflammatory nonsense.

Charlie Kirk's death was a tragedy. But he built his name on provocation and white supremacy. He said that gun deaths of innocents were "worth it."

On Mark Carney's first day as Prime Minister in Parliament, Liberals gave Kirk a standing ovation. Ceding ground to extremism won't make them nicer.
