Of course advance information on US combat operations is classified. Pretending otherwise is an insult to our troops, who all know this.

We live in a time that people are more inclined to obey an unlawful executive order than they are to follow a court order 🤦🏾‍♀️.

Dictators are created due to cruelty, cowardice, & compliance! IF THEIR ASSES will ignore the Supreme Court, we can definitely IGNORE HIM!

I’m going to say something that shouldn’t be controversial but will be. If you are a Christian, you can support border control and immigration being legal vs illegal. You CANNOT celebrate deportations and get off on the cruelty, and be a real Christ follower. Period

So the Republican Party has historically blocked:

-Paid sick leave

-Paid family & medical leave

-Universal childcare

-Universal pre-K

-Expanded Child Tax Credit

-Programs to support reproductive health

And they're wondering why more people aren't having children?

If we’re serious about more efficient government and better everyday life in America - which we all should be - that means actually improving government, not cutting health care for poor people and slashing support for veterans.

So are we still more upset about Diverse, but qualified, yet presumed unqualified hires, than DUI hires?

Republicans in Congress might still be scared of his mean tweets, but the rest of the world is laughing at him.

Has anyone else had issues with the iOS app being very slow the past 1-2 weeks? It is borderline unusable. Scrolling gets stuck and hiccups. I haven't upgraded to the newest iOS yet, perhaps that will fix the problem? (using iphone 13)

Hello Michael! We're aware that there's an issue affecting some users in this way —and as it happens, I'm one of them!— and the team think they know what's to blame. A fix will be implemented as soon as possible, but I don't have a specific timeline I can share yet, I'm very sorry to say. Thanks for sharing, of course, and I hope we resolve it for you soon!

No issues for me with the iOS app. I'm running the latest version of the app and iOS.

Michael DAmbrosio's avatar

Well, iOS16 didn't solve it either... Hmm.

its virtually impossible to be a 100% ethical consumer every time and survive under late stage capitalism. but we HAVE to make smart, intentional, informed choices. It’s the bare minimum— don’t buy things you don’t need, don’t cross the picket line, stand with companies that align with your morals as best as possible. it’s thought provoking, time consuming, and intentional (all things Americans struggle with) but it’s necessary.

Starbucks is banning employees from wearing masks. Masking. This is what happens when safe healthcare practices are mischaracterized as political statements. A company that insists on being “politically neutral” is now preventing employees from keeping themselves and their customers safe under the guise of brand image.

If you weren’t already boycotting Starbucks, now is a good time to start.
