What do you love about long distance friendships?

LDF catch some hate because most of us would rather not be far away from our nearest and dearest, but there are some bright spots to this situation, like my friend Jamee points out here.

Long distance friendships can be the worst haha but in other ways they are actually wonderful. I love the idea that I have friends all over the world experiencing all these different things in different places and that I can visit them in these wonderful places and get little slices of their life in uninterrupted ways.
