We’re in trouble here on Substack.
In case you don’t know, Substack Team has rolled out hidden shadow banning across the platform. This is system wide. It is NOT simply an option to use their AI to hide “bad comments” on your specific substack.
They’re now autohiding comment responses on Notes, system wide, along Woke rules.
I just saw it. In one of my notes threads, a reply was hidden. I could unhide it (they’lll take that away within a few months). Why was it hidden? Because it had the word r*tard in it.
Look what I just had to do. I had to buckle under and misspell for a woke algorithm in hopes that Substack won’t hide this Note I’m sending out.
This is a bad sign. It’s going to get worse. I’m now considering how long I may have until Substack Team takes away my ability to earn a living here.
You should download your entire archive, and all the email addresses of your subscribers right now. They’re going to ban a lot of us, and I suspect my Disaffected will be among the first.
