I felt, for a little bit, haunted by Stoppard’s play, ARCADIA. We read it in my junior year English class. Senior year, my high school put it up and I played the pretentious blowhard/poet Ezra Chater1. My freshman year of college, ARCADIA was the annual freshman show for the Yale Drama Coalition2. My sophomore year, the Yale Repertory Theatre produced the play. For a while there, it felt like ARCADIA was a holiday I celebrated annually.
