Why “Deportation Judges” Are Anything But Legal Or Fair

Why have longstanding Immigration Judges been fired (and continue to be fired) by this Republican administration? Because they were following the rule of law when dealing with immigration issues in their courts. You know, holding those fair hearings that make the Republican Regime cringe because they know the law specifically prohibits ICE’s and DHS’s authoritarian mission to illegally assault, detain, and disappear immigrants and visitors without DUE PROCESS.

And how to fill the void left by the unjustified firing of Immigration Judges? How to open the bottleneck of immigration cases compounded by the unjustified firing of Immigration Judges?

DHS now hires handpicked “judges” and grants them the title of “Deportation Judge”.

“Deportation Judge“ - Now there’s a concept that is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Truly an example of doublespeak. (George Orwell would be proud!)

The “judge” title wants to lull non fascists into assuming that these judges represent “democracy”, the “rule of law”, and “fair hearings”. However, the adjective “Deportation” absolutely contradicts the concept of fairness, legality, and democracy.

The whole purpose of DHS hiring their own judges is the “Deportation” part. The regime is saying to these handpicked new hire judges that deportation is our only goal - you make it happen no matter how you may have to twist, distort, or ignore existing immigration laws.

Let your representatives in Washington DC hear from you that this is not American democracy; it is AmeriKKKan fascism. Tell your representatives that We The People refuse to support the rigging of our courts or the continued destruction of American democracy. Tell them that we expect them to do their job , uphold the Constitution and the rule of law, and put an end to this national nightmare. Tell them that We The People will continue to resist the illegal dismantling of American democracy and We expect no less from them.
