Make money doing the work you believe in

I recently sold my 100th portrait. It’s funny, because when I told my sister, she exclaimed “That’s absolutely incredible!” and I think because it was over a four year period, it doesn’t feel so monumental. But it is. One hundred sold paintings is actually kind of remarkable when you think about it. And there have been a few collectors who purchased my works in bulk -a collector in Toronto purchased eight works in one go, and another few collectors have purchased between three and six works each, but even still, my work has found itself in many, many homes across the globe and I think that’s worth celebrating. My art has been placed in homes in Finland, Mexico, Ireland, England, Canada, USA, France and Scotland.

I’m not one to typically celebrate achievements, but to mark the occasion I am going to crack open a cherry Bubly, and give a toast to myself.

I also want to give back, and so I am going to do a giveaway on my social media in the next week or two.

Shown is my Tugboat Captain who now resides in a lovely home in Tolouse, France.
