Sipping my morning coffee (Death Wish brand) in the sullen aftermath of America 250 , I am comically obsessed with thought of what we have become. We've gone from a nation of men who could have been shot or hung for signing a document of secession, with a military leader who navigated the frozen Delaware River in the dark of night with a ragtag band of combatants ill prepared for the temperature with threadbare attire to annihilate a bunch of Prussian mercenaries … to a nation that they would likely not recognize. One that cancels parades and celebrations in honor of its semiquincentennial ….

because it's hot. Ponder that if and when you wonder what it will take to wake people up and open their eyes to the slowly unfolding events around them. Wouldn't it be interesting and informative, and hopefully enraging if someone could accurately calculate the percentage of our national debt that is due to fraud, corruption and grift? Ponder it when you wonder how much violence by migrants will be tolerated against ordinary citizens here; those aliens here mostly present illegally and often transported by funds obtained from our own government….how much will it take to inspire backlash? The cutting down or disabling of Flock cameras kind of response…..Bueller?

I wonder about these things every day.
