I remember the comic ads for these, but we never got them around here. (I live in Canada, so maybe that's it?) I find it weird that there isn't a lot of info on this sort of thing on the internets. That's a big part of why I come here so much: you cover a lot of the forgotten bits of pop culture history that seem to have slid between the cracks.

These bring to mind another set of snack cake cards that I only vaguely remember. Would have been 79/80, and they featured a Battlestar Galactica style story of humans fleeing aliens. Came with card and cutout models/standees. I've been curious to find out more, but no luck.

Cutout cards used to be a big thing.... wonder why they faded away.
