I was greatly inspired by what I’ve read in Psalm 78. Though I am not a mom yet, this information is very important to keep in mind. When children are thought of, it’s always admiration. Then, in this text I’m reminded of what we should do as parents.

Make the word known to your children

“For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:” - Psalm 78:5

Continuing in verse 6: “That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:” - Psalm 78:6

To keep the generations going on a good path.

“And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.” - Deuteronomy 6:7

“Train up a child in the way he should go: (even) and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” - Proverbs 22:6
