There’s a difference between a vibration and a frequency in both spirituality and audio.

  • Vibration: pulse

  • Frequency: intensity

Neither are inherently low or high and include the full spectrum of tones. Both make up the song of your body: your instrument.

When we speak of increasing frequency, it is intended to widen the range of your experience in both the valleys and the peaks.

When we speak of increasing vibration, it’s about the waves that you play with. Long waves, or short waves. Intense or flat waves. Etc.

It’s just misinterpreted by many who are early on the path, because of the word ‘higher’, which makes people think of a high pitch. When really we’re talking about greater velocity across both.

Words matter.

Said differently:

You emanate a rhythmic expanding and contracting energy, which is the pulse of your being: your heart beat. A faster beating heart indicates activity, a slower beating heart indicates calm. Both intensities are valid. As are sad emotions or happy emotions.

The motion between being at rest and being in action is life. Movement can happen in a lot of directions and methods: this is the play between your pulse and your surrounding. Can you be calm when your environment is intense? Can you be intense when your environment is calm? Can you be fast when life moves slow? Can you slow down when life moves fast?

Across all of this, ask yourself: how easily can I attach and detach from the energy of my environment. The more fluidly you do this, the more free you will feel in your expression.

Now consider that volume, pitch, tone, and beat are also words that exist to explain this. Enjoy the journey of exploration :)
