Three people within the last week have told me that I look younger and happier since moving to Canada. I think it’s true. I’m working with colleagues who value me, respect the need for time off and support my professional development.
My patients are well educated, kind and I get to see the light come back into their eyes when I start them on hormone therapy.
Most importantly, I’m no longer standing at the hemorrhage point of an ideological civil war. Which, as it turns out, has a measurable and visible impact on my health.
