Another nugget from this conversation:

Show the real thing.

Take a picture of the inside of your book. Share the analog piece. Let people see the paper, the margin notes, the messy human evidence that the work exists somewhere besides the internet.

This is a reminder for myself too. When I publish my book I'm totally doing this.
