no Dominant worth their salt wants a partner who disappears. they want more of you, not less.

real submission is never the erasure of the self—it is the moment when surrender becomes an expression of your deepest truth.

But when submission arises from self-trust, something entirely different happens. The self remains rooted. The heart remains open. The lion of eros is allowed to breathe. From that place, the offering of power is not the erasure of the self—it is the expression of it. This is what I call sovereign submission.
