Grendel’s mother from Beowulf, Medusa, the Sirens, Jezebel, Lilith, all fascinating shadow mother/lovers. In common in all monster myths are the three pillars of narcissism seen in both males and females but expressed through uniquely feminine instincts in them: lack of mindfulness (observing ego), poor boundaries with violation of others, and win/lose destructive decisions based of both lack of conscience and lack of intuition or worldly wisdom (naïveté)…
