HHS is reinstating a childhood vaccine safety panel disbanded in 1998 after Children’s Health Defense, antivax organization founded by RFK Jr, sued RFK Jr to reinstate this panel.

Safety is important, but I would not be surprised if they stack this panel with people who are not experts and vaccine critics that will follow RFK Jr’s advice.

They will likely try to remove the first dose of hepatitis B from the vaccine schedule first and slowly erode trust in vaccines as well as herd immunity.
