I’m extremely concerned by reports that the State Department is coming for Trita Parsi — a foreign policy expert and critic of the Iran war — and may seek to deport him.

Trita has shared his expertise on The Debrief and media outlets across the ideological spectrum. He is a green card holder who has lived in the US for 25+ years.

An attack on constitutional freedoms for anyone entitled to them (including green card holders) is an attack on the Constitution and endangers freedoms for everyone.

“Anyone who seeks to undermine the US, we’re taking a hard look at,” a Trump Admin reportedly official said, in connection with Trita’s case. Trita is not the first to be targeted. He won’t be the last.

The time to speak out is now.
