The app for independent voices

Everybody loves a protest until you ask what actually changed. Folks pack the streets, raise voices, flood social media, and for a few hours it feels like power is shaking. Like history can be changed.

But then everybody goes home. And the system doesn’t even flinch. Because what if these protests aren’t disrupting power? What if they’re regulating us? What if we’ve been trained to gather, chant, and disperse just enough to feel brave, but not enough to actually threaten anything?

This piece is about the psychology of protest as performance, the illusion of impact, and why nothing seems to change no matter how loud it gets.

So we need to as a hard question: Are we resisting, or are we being managed?
