“In my opinion, the current treatment of gender-confused minors is the biggest medical scandal of my time in medicine. While I respect the rights of adults to identify and live how they wish, I call on the profession to objectively look at the evidence—or rather, the lack of it—in this complex area of paediatrics. And I urge the profession to advocate for the banning of puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgery for these vulnerable minors.”
