I haven't really noticed this trend myself, but I have seen a few posts about it. It is alarming.

We just updated our kitchen appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, and stove). The fridge and dishwasher are Energy Star compliant. Oddly, stoves don't appear to have such ratings. Regardless, the stove is all electric, has an induction range and convection / air fryer oven.
It is also the greatest thing ever. I'm not sure what underpins all this desire for gas, but I have found the induction range to be far more precise and effective than my previous gas range. Cooking with a wok requires a…
