I started this account to also share writing tips, but I haven’t been able to do that consistently. So let me share my progress from the past week (pre-exam week). ✍🏻💻

Monday = 1028 words

Tuesday = 1200 words

Wednesday = Rest day

Thursday = Rest day

Friday = 1600 words

Saturday = 1400 words

Sunday = 928 words

I try to stay consistent, but I always remind myself that creativity can’t be forced. You have to enter an artist’s mindset a sense of urgency that pushes you to write something. Consistency= discipline. I usually take breaks from writing on days when I’m occupied with other things, like studying. I don’t write poetry every day; I believe poetry is something that lies in God’s hands, and I wait for Him to place it in my lap it feels divine. I do try to work on my novel every day or at least write in my journal.
