Fight for your rights; otherwise, someone else will fight you and snatch them away. Silence is oppression, one must assert and articulate their dreams and freedom openly; otherwise, others might turn those dreams and freedom against you. Dying for your freedom is the highest form of martyrdom, at least in my eyes.
