Hey guys, I have a fiction recommendation request.

I have a fight scene that could use some polish, and I prefer learning from others’ work. Where have you seen hand-to-hand combat writing that reads really well? The violence doesn’t have to be strictly realistic; I’m looking more for nuts-and-bolts craft inspiration. What level of detail to use, how to keep the flow going and hold the reader’s attention, what makes it feel exciting, and so on. Book recs as well as Substack fiction welcome. Thanks in advance!
