Just putting it out there that I think I could rly provide some value as a design consultant for renovating landlords so that tenants could get the apartments they deserve. I promise it’s possible to make functional, hardwearing, and aesthetically pleasing renovations on a budget. If I see one more 650 sq ft apartment with a massive renovated kitchen and nary a place to sit, I will lose my gd mind. Ditto massive closets that block all the light. Ditto bathrooms that look like they belong in hotels. There’s a reason New York City apartments have historically had small kitchens and tiny bathrooms. Let us live, oh my god.
