So sad to learn of the decision to shutter CBS News Radio. That was where I started my journey with CBS News, and I’m proud to have been part of numerous Murrow award-winning teams there. Back in the days when radio still had money, I was privileged to report not just from France but also from around Europe and Africa, covering a breadth of foreign news for the US audience. (And some affiliates in Australia! My sister-in-law’s late father used to get a kick out of hearing me on his radio down under!)

To all my former colleagues who will be signing off for the last time on May 22, thank you, and bon courage.
