I was having this same thought yesterday! I don’t even ask anymore, I just assume it’s an ‘if you have to ask, you can’t afford it’ situation.

Though I have to say, pales in comparison to job ads refusing to disclose the salary range until you’ve wasted your time applying and maybe even interviewing first.
