you are probably smart and should have more self-confidence in the kitchen; it’s actually really hard to make disgusting food although I’ve certainly managed it, it was usually the sort of mistake one only makes once, like using wildly incorrect proportions because I misread the directions on a totally unfamiliar recipe like pad thai.
