Most PMs say they are data-driven and then use data to confirm what they already decided.
This is not a character flaw. It is just how brains work under pressure to ship.
The honest version is: we make a call, then we find the number that makes it look inevitable.
The rare PMs who catch themselves doing this and name it out loud tend to build way more trust with engineers.
