Large protests against Jolani's regime have been taking place in Syria today by the Alawite community, in reaction to the genocidal massacres that his men are carrying out against the Alawites.

This is taking place whilst Jolani's men are in direct combat with the Kurdish SDF forces.

This is emblematic of the lack of a unified revolutionary ethos of the so-called Syrian revolution.

A revolution requires mass participation by the people in support of an entirely new system and eco-political order.

This unified mobilisation was always absent from the Syrian so-called revolution, as the Jihadist vanguard of the movement, never had mass public support.

The ideology of those who have now come to power, was and remains, a skewed form of religious supremacy, that outright rejects the very will of half the Syrian population — the Kurds included, even though they are Sunni themselves.

Let's not forget that the minority communities make up almost half the Syrian population collectively — most of whom never supported HTS.

Therefore this seize of power by Jolani and his men, fails to meet the basic criterion of a revolution — which is why the new Syrian regime will and is, already collapsing.

Consequently, although the imperialists were able to bring down Syria and fracture the resistance — this success shall be short-lived.

The internal dichotomies and violence that is being unleashed by the new Al Qaeda regime in Syria, is simply not sustainable — which is why all ambitions the imperialist have for the region, shall not materialise.

The only means by which to pacify Syria, so that they are able to exploit its wealth and location — is via the establishment of various administrative cantons, under international supervision.

However given the military limitations of the West and its allies — this will also be a failing project in the long-run.
