Yesterday we went to Muriwai beach and while we were there sheltering under some trees because of the heat a group of people started playing drums and dancing and chanting. It was great to listen to and later when they spread out their picnic next to our car they offered us food. We are so lucky that we have other ethnicities in our country it enriches us and we are fools to think that denying them the freedom to live their culture and express it is the right thing to do.
