Everything about Rita Ott Ramstad’s recent post is real, and raw, and vital. She explores the connections of betrayal (all too apparent in our current socio-political environment) and how structures that are centuries old continue to support the power imbalances that are tearing us limb from limb. And it’s HER story, her personal version of a much more insidious disease, a kind of cancer. There may not be clear beginnings or endings, and we’re certainly a long way from resolution, but we’ve at least got to acknowledge that it’s killing us.
