“Beacon”

The beauty and vastness of my home province of British Columbia never fails to leave me in awe. During a month-long road-trip across northern BC/Yukon, my favourite stop might have been this stunning Salmon Glacier. My partner Kris, my dog Pepper and myself set up camp above this glacier with the incredible view below us, and we were treated a gorgeous light show when the clouds moved in just before sunset!

As stunning as it was, I also got to battle thousands of mosquitoes during this entire shoot (no amounts of bug spray will deter those northern mountain mosquitoes, nor will the prop photoshoot sword, haha!)… but the mosquito battles were still so very worth it to witness and capture this scene.
